Beautiful place set-up by the riverside. The wooden cabins are thoughtfully made with all the amenities provided. The greenery around make the place cool. You'll love waking up to the sound of birds singing. The food at all 3 meals are very tasty and satisfying. There's lot of space to roam around and they have activities to try out. Pool is clean and fun to chill at. The staff is very accommodating and they make your stay comfortable and ensure you have a nice time. Very much worth the visit as this is one of the few resorts where you can expect to get what you expected.

We had been to River Roost with our school children. It was a beautiful and calm place for a day out. Our students enjoyed both indoor and outdoor activities. Breakfast and Lunch served for the students was awesome. Swimming pool was very clean and apt for students to swim. All the staff members were very co-operative, helpful and well behaved. Ms Sajda, Manager of the resort was very helpful and caring. She was on her toes through out the day to take care of all our needs of such a big crowd of students. The hospitality of the resort was remarkable. I really recommend this place for the school children as it is one of the safest place for a day.

Not sure about the rooms as we went for a day trip. Location is a little interior from the main road, but there were ample signs. We tried the zip lining which was 150/- per person. The swimming pool was clean. Boating was available at a certain time, but we did not use the facility. Our group was nearly 25 people but we were well accommodated. Washrooms , changing rooms, toilets were clean. Food was good and so was the service. There were some farm animals , birds etc . Dance floor and music was also available. Parking was sufficient. Kids play area was also fun.

Awesome resort outskirts of Mangaluru, with a range of facilities. Rooms are well staffed and comfortable. Thoughtful management, they take good care of guests. We enjoyed our two day stay. Good food, amenities by the river side with great view. Could be a nice place for a calm and relaxing getaway. Location is little remote which is accessible by own vehicles only.

This is a big review, but wanted to write one since everyone who went on this trip enjoyed the place. Team: We were there as a team on 24 November 2023 and stayed there for 2 nights and according to me and everyone of my 35 team members and 7 kids, this is the best place to be when you are out with the team. Sajda, Priyanka and others took very good care for us. Hospitality: They extended a very good hospitality and kept asking us and making sure that it stays the same throughout the stay. They had planned everything ahead based on what we had discussed with them during the planning phase. We even asked for an even organiser and they gave us few options. This is charged separately, but the person they suggested was good and the team enjoyed the evening. Food: The food was very good and we even added a dish for dinner during our lunch time and they had that done for us (a very simple and easy dish). The main point here is, we stayed 2 nights and had 6 meals with them and none of the folks including the kids complained about the food and none of them even after going back said they had an upset stomach or issues with digestion and everyone ate plenty. What more do we need? Drinks and Restaurant: As everyone know, a team outing with a stay does not end without drinks. even though they do not have alcohol, they gave us the permission to bring it in and even asked us to use the restaurant space (including the fridge). The best thing is, they gave us a bartender (for a nominal charge per night), they gave us the glassware (they have for everything, beer, whiskey, shots, wine, etc., you name it they have it) and even allowed us to use the starters that were served for the dinner as a side (there is a time limit to it and I think it was upto 11 PM, if I am not wrong). Why I want to state this particularly is, none of the resorts that we have been to in Bangalore allows us to use the starters served as a side for the drinks and they don't provide glassware and they don't allow to use the restaurant or the food, we need to order separately). They even gave us ice cubes until the end of the night on both the days. Rooms: We booked 19 rooms (we had lot of changes at the last moment and they accommodated everything) and the rooms were big and clean, the toilets were very clean and no power issues. Facility: They have a big and beautiful place, green everywhere and clean. They have a lot of activities right from a boating, swimming pool, zip line, a volley ball court, basketball court, a place to play cricket, carrom, chess, archery, pottery, etc. Folks (including the kids) enjoyed the activities that are there. You'll have ample space to play around. Access to the resort: We can reach by car, the one disadvantage is, a bus cannot. But the resort folks helped us by arranging cabs and autos as we had to go to a place that was accessible by bus for a trip around Mangalore. It was around 4 kms and the autos charged Rs. 100/- (if I am not wrong). We have been to few places in Bangalore and never have seen a resort this clean and with such good hospitality. We had another team outing inside in Bangalore (a resort in Kanakapura, don't want to name it here) in December 2023 and the folks who came to the Bangalore trip were talking about how good RiverRoost was throughout the day (and even after). So, I would recommend RiverRoost to anyone who is looking for a team outing in Mangalore. You will have to plan well if you are planning to go out of the resort since there is no bus access, but that you wont mind, looking at how good the place is, how good the food is and how good their hospitality is.
